Top Ten Tuesday #10 ~ Things on my reading wishlist

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the girls over at The Broke and the Bookish, where bloggers get together and list the top ten things related to that week's topic.

This week our list is if you could make authors write about these things you would. character, issue, time period, plot ect...

Wow what a tough one this week... here it goes!

1 - I would love it if Stephenie Meyer to finish Midnight Sun!

2 - I would love it if Lauren Kate wrote a fallen novel from Daniel or Cam's POV.

3 - I'd love some more Infernal Devices from Cassandra Clare, I know she finished the series perfectly but I could never get enough of Jem!!

4 - I'd really enjoy a story about or from his Nick from Lust, Money & Murder by Mike Wells. Whether it be a future story with Elaine or about his past up until he met her.

5 - For eBooks to be more reasonably priced - I don't understand why they are just as expensive as paperbacks! (Ok yes this item was inspired by Pamela @ Reading is fun again)

Ok so my list might be a little short as I still have so many books I am yet to read or finish the series... and I think a lot of what I want is yet to come when I do finish the books!

What is on your top ten wishlist??

Love

Chanzie

    1. Thanks Pamela! Maybe one day Stephenie will grace us with this finished novel. I actually think Midnight sun was better than Twilight!

  5. Nice top ten. I would love cheaper ebooks too. Don't know why some are priced the same as hardbacks.

    1. Thank you :) I agree.. I mean they save on printing, paper & transport, I mean surely the price should be lower!!

  6. I would LOVE for Midnight Sun to be finished. I was actually re-reading it like 2 nights ago. Love Edwards POV, seeing how he struggles at first. It was such a shame that some evil person ruined it all and posted it online. Hopefully one day Stephanie will feel ready to finish it. *Fingers crossed*
I've not yet got round to reading the Infernal Devices, on my plan for this year!
Also, I totally agree with you with e-books. I refuse to buy any that cost more then it would cost to buy it as a physical book from amazon! Plus I once spent £5 on an ebook and it was awful. The only reason I finished reading it was because I had spent so much! Great list!
P.S. I love these little stars that follow me around your blog!

    1. *Fingers Crossed* Sigh sometime silly people can ruin it for the rest of us, still I don't see why Steph let that put her off completely :(
I hope you get to TID soon *nudge nudge* wow $5 is a lot... I always opt for the paperback if the eBook is the same price! at least I can trade it at the book store if it sucks lol

He he glad you liked the stars **

  7. I hear ya about reasonably priced eBooks. There's nothing I hate more than going to buy a book the day it releases and finding out that the paperback is sooo much cheaper. Then I end up torn between wanting to read the novel right now and waiting for the physical copy to ship because I want to save a few bucks.

    1. Lol now just wait. Either I will score it as a freebie somewhere or it will be cheaper when I do buy it off my wishlist! Either way I score :)

  8. You're making me realize that I have to read the Infernal Devices! I tried, but the beginning of the first book kinda scared me off. I'm not so good with horror! But I keep hearing about it, and I really should give it another shot. Also I could not agree more about ebooks. I think they should be cheaper - and I would love it if they were free with the purchase of the physical book. I love real books - plus I like supporting the authors - but I can't carry books around with me all the time because they're too heavy. And I'm not about to spend 20$ on the physical book and then shell out another 15$ for the ebook. So annoying!

    1. Wow I hope you get to read The Infernal devices. I really didn't think it was a horror at all! That is a great idea, get the ebook for free with the physical.. brilliant!! You might have a goldmine idea there :)

  9. I totally agree about e-books, I hate when they are super expensive. I paid about £8 for my Allegiant ebook, and was even more annoyed I paid so much when I ended up hating the book. They really need to be more reasonably priced. I really think Midnight Sun would have made a great book, would definitely read that if she finished it.

    My TTT :)

    1. Wow £8 for an ebook, that is insane!! And the sad part is it's not like you can even trade an ebook like you can with a paperback if you don't want to keep it. At least that way you can get something back for it.

  11. This was a really hard topic this week but I couldn't agree with #5 more! Any ebook over $5 is super expensive, I usually just wait for the paperback to be out. Thanks for visiting :)

    1. I totally agree, here is SA the eBook is sometimes more expensive than the paperback which makes no sense, I then always just opt for the paperback!

    1. Yay!! So glad you agree with me :) The world could do with more books about Jem and well more books from awesome authors in general!

  14. Yes yes to everything! (although I don't know about #4, lol). Back in the days of my rwilight fandom, I dreamed Stephenie Meyer would finish writing Midnight Sun. I would pick it up now too. Ebooks, why are you so pricey?! That's why I sometimes refuse to buy them and I wait up until they go on sale at a more reasonable price. Max $5 and it has to be one I seriously want.

    1. Thanks Melissa :) I still have hope that maybe Miss Meyer will finish it. I think it will be an instant best seller! I think Mike Wells is having giveaway if you want to try out Lust, Money and Murder, I loved this Audio book <3
I totally do the same where I wait for the ebooks to be on sale at a reasonable price!

  15. Oh Jem! Yes we need more Jem in the world! And Tessa too! I too loved the way the series ended but there was so much more we could have been told. Do I see some fan fiction in our future ;). Awesome list!

    1. Oh gosh I think there is definitely some fan fiction to be!!! I think that is my favourite series of all time at the moment and that is saying something since Fallen and a few other series were #1 for such a long time :)
As only a true fan would say... of course she could have written more!! *Tee hee*

  16. Great list! I DEFINITELY agree with the ebooks thing. I am actually surprised by how some can cost up to $12... like it isn't even a paperback!!! WHY WOULD YOU MAKE SOMETHING SO EXPENSIVE??

    1. ha ha ha I am so with you on that. I found on some local sites here the ebook is even more expensive than the paperback and I shake my head asking why??? It's not like they paying for paper, printing or anything...

  17. I am so with you one Midnight Sun. I would love to read a finished copy.

  18. I'm totally with you about Midnight Sun! The first Twilight book was my favorite and I enjoyed the few chapters we got.

    1. Sigh.. I wonder how many more requests Ms Meyer must get to be convinced this is a good idea to finish - It will be an instant best seller for sure!
